With 22+ years of experience as a reporter, editor and multimedia journalist, she's made her mark on a number of major media companies, including ABS-CBN News Channel, Channel News Asia, Forbes, HGTV, Food Network, CNBC and Bloomberg.
Annalisa was born in and grew up in Los Angeles, California. After earning degrees in communications and English at UCLA, she went on to report and copy edit for the Dallas Morning News and the Orange County Register.
In 2003, Annalisa moved to New York City to study broadcasting at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. She was one of the first video anchors and field reporters for Forbes' broadband news channel on Forbes.com and later was a features writer and online anchor for CNBC.com.
As a pioneer in original digital video content, she joined Scripps Networks as senior editor for HGTV Digital, in charge of real estate, remodeling and home improvement topics. She oversaw content strategy and production, notably leading the editorial launch of HGTV's real estate site FrontDoor.com and HGTVRemodels.com.
In 2012, Annalisa worked as a producer and anchor for Bloomberg TV before moving to Singapore. She was an independent writer and video host/producer, working with clients like The Wall Street Journal, Yahoo!, Food Network and others, before taking a full-time role as news anchor for Channel News Asia, hosting the morning show. In 2017, she moved to Manila, where she is an international news anchor and managing editor.
